Feminism - for everyone?

Feminism is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. The term “feminism” is largely misinterpreted and this article aims to explain to you why feminism isn’t just limited to women.

Patriarchy is a social system in which men hold primary power and predominate in roles of political leadership, moral authority, social privilege and control of property. Patriarchy doesn’t necessarily affect only women. Men, women, people from the queer community, every single person is affected negatively by patriarchy.

As impossible and damaging as societal standards for women are, the standards for men are just as poisonous: From birth, men are discouraged from expressing emotions, which is seen as a feminine attribute — boys don't cry, right? Toxic masculinity, gender gap, unfair laws and more are perpetuated by patriarchy.

Feminism at its core is about equality. Women do not need to be the same as men, they aren’t the same as men and everyone knows that. Many people believe that just because women aren’t the “same” as men they will always be inferior to men. They have distinctive physical abilities; these physical contrasts mean fairness is beyond the realm of imagination, right?

The issue here is about equal rights and equal access to opportunities. People don't need to be the "same" to be treated equally.

Feminism endeavours to end the separation, abuse, and persecution of individuals because of their sex, sexual direction, race, class, and different contrasts and supports individuals in being allowed to decide their own lives for themselves.

It supports us in interrogating what we've been educated regarding driving individuals into customary jobs and esteeming a few gatherings short of what others. It helps us stand up against oppression and demand justice as a whole community.

Feminism recognizes separation, misuse, and mistreatment — and not men (contrary to the belief) as the issue. Living in male-centric, homophobic, supremacist, and classist social orders, we are adapted to sustain sexism, homophobia, bigotry, and classism.

Feminism works towards freeing individuals of convictions that have been taught to us since the beginning of time.

It intends to make an existence where there is no mastery, where individuals are esteemed for being who they are completely and uninhibitedly. To make such a world, all types of persecution need to end – sexism, prejudice, classism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, ableism, and more.

Very different perspective and it is true. It would be nice - if you provide the reference of the sources where you collected some facts. That would encourage readers to know more about the subject. Good work.
